Linda has obtained additional credentials, so she can help Seniors move out of their home in the most comfortable, smooth, and worry free basis. Not only did Linda receive her Realtors Licence in 1989, but also holds a current Registered Nurse's Licence. Linda has also completed the "Accredited Seniors Agent" (ASA) Designation. The latter requires a Realtor to take a comprehensive course and write an exam for this designation.

With the population of Canada aging, the old ways of selling real estate wil not provide the diligence and services that will be needed in the coming years.

• The "ASA" designation has trained me to work with the mature, special needs and seniors market, that need help transitioning from their current home to either a nursing facility, condo, new or resale home or assisted living facility.
  

• This client often has been in their home for many years. Therefore, they may need to have their home staged, cleaned out, reorganized, painted, repairs done, mortgage advice, have legal, estate or tax advice arranged, etc. before selling their property. This, in many cases, would be too cumbersome a project for this particular client.

• That's where I come in. My full compliment of associates can help with all aspects of the above including - accountants, estate planners, stagers, organizers, movers, antique dealers, junk removers, transition managers, renovators, handymen, etc.

• As a Senior's Agent, I can arrange it all - "One Stop Shop" for the senior who may not have any family around or have family who are just too buzy or live far away. I work closely with the family (if applicable), to help facilitate everyone's wishes.
  
  
•  A thorough analysis is done to see what is required to bring about a smooth and worry free transition. My services to arrange the above are free with any listing or purchase of a home, however my associates would be reimbursed by the client for any service the associate provides.

• do a complete analysis of the senior's needs to help decide the type of housing that would best suit the client. (ie: costs involved, health status, disabilities, cognitive functions, tax issues, etc.)
• referral to appropriate associates for medical, financial and legal advice, if applicable.
• sort possessions and decide what to keep, sell, donate or discard.
• declutter the home to prepare for selling.
• recycle and /or donate unwanted items to charity, good will, etc. 
• sort through papers/documents, shred what's not needed.
• arrange for an antique dealer to appraise unneeded items (if applicable) and sell them through our associates.
• arrange for shipping of items to family as necessary.
• stage the home for "top dollar" (includes repairs, painting, redesign, clean up, etc.) 
• arrange for utility disconnection and reconnection in new home.
• arrange for the movers and connection of any electronics in the new property.
• pack and then unpack belongings as the client sees fit, to suit their personality.
• take care of any change of address notices.
• arrange lawyer's visits for closing of property.
  
  Note- if the client has deceased, we will work with the exectors, liquidators, lawyers, etc. to help ease the family's stress, during this sensitive time.
